In 2013, Christine sat on the judging panel for the 2013 Eat Drink Design Awards – celebrating the designers behind Australasia’s best eating and drinking experiences. The annual Eat-Drink-Design Awards supports innovation and excellence in the design of hospitality premises of all scales and types, retail environments for the sale of food and beverages and visual identities for both. From high-end restaurants and bars to offbeat hole-in-the-wall cafes and pop-ups, the awards are a unique forum for architects, designers and their clients to present their best new projects.

Tasting Success is an innovative program which aims to encourage apprenticed and non apprenticed females training to be chefs from Sydney Institute Ultimo and Loftus campuses to complete their apprenticeships, remain in the hospitality industry and ultimately achieve senior positions in the leading kitchens of NSW and Australia. It gives our young women the confidence to reach for the stars!
