Regionality Farm2Plate Exchange . Scenic Rim, Queensland. May 2021

Farm2Plate Exchange 2021 will bring together key industry and government stakeholders, focusing on a renewed approach to:

  • How do we respond to the devastating impacts of a changing climate like bushfire and drought?
  • How does agri food go from being part of the problem to part of the solution?
  • Consumer behaviour post pandemic, how do we make local, seasonal and provenance a way of life for all Australian consumers?

With the theme of RENEW, aligned with ideas of adaptation and resilience; this exchange is the opportunity for people to think differently about how they approach the concept of farm to plate and the connection between agriculture and tourism, particularly in a regional context, looking at what’s working and what’s not working in the farm to plate value chain with real case studies.

The exchange is a conversation between innovative farmers and food producers who want to engage with their consumers, to do more than just grow and sell products.

Christine joins the 2021 program on a panel discussion The Art of ARTISAN, how to make your product pop. to share her experiences and knowledge.
