Tasting Australia brings life to Adelaide and the regions of South Australia, encouraging people to try and taste something new and to celebrate world class food and beverage experiences on offer in this year’s festival programme. Attracting some of the most talented and influential chefs in our industry, the program highlights the vital partnerships between local food producers and venues including working farms, breweries, wineries, beverage producers and tourism operators, making for special and memorable experiences.

Manfield is among Australia’s most celebrated chefs, a curious cook and perfectionist with a passion for travel and all its possibilities. She has led three restaurants – Sydney’s Paramount and Universal, plus East@West in London – each impressing with their diverse, dynamic menus. Asian flavours remain a muse for Manfield, with three of her eleven cookbooks devoted to Indian food.
Preserving tradition is a focus for Sullivan, whose Granny Skills movement invites elder Australians to share their knowledge with younger generations. A passionate advocate for sustainable practices, Sullivan also leads Indigenous-owned food business Warndu alongside her partner Damien Coulthard and recently launched the game-changing First Nations Food Companion. Expect a delicious variety of native fare to feature across the evening’s dishes.
