Chefs Table Series: The Bush Table

When: Fri 5th May 7pm
Where: The Dining Room, Town Square
Cost: $600 pp

Our new Chef’s Table brings you closer to stars of the professional kitchen and the brilliance of their craft. Twenty seats. One next-level experience. This is luxury with a raw edge. Revel in collaborations only found here.

Watch each dish take shape, hearing from the chefs every step of the way. Ask questions. Share stories. Be immersed.

Come explore. Christine Manfield and Rebecca Sullivan will unite for The Bush Table, an experience that takes global cues while also honouring native ingredients.

Manfield is among Australia’s most celebrated chefs, a curious cook and perfectionist with a passion for travel and all its possibilities. She has led three restaurants – Sydney’s Paramount and Universal, plus East@West in London – each impressing with their diverse, dynamic menus. Asian flavours remain a muse for Manfield, with three of her eleven cookbooks devoted to Indian food.

Preserving tradition is a focus for Sullivan, whose Granny Skills movement invites elder Australians to share their knowledge with younger generations. A passionate advocate for sustainable practices, Sullivan also leads Indigenous-owned food business Warndu alongside her partner Damien Coulthard and recently launched the game-changing First Nations Food Companion. Expect a delicious variety of native fare to feature across the evening’s dishes.

The best dining experiences offer adventure; the chance to disappear for a while, lost in stories told on the plate and in each glass. Ready? Manfield and Sullivan are too.

This event includes all beverages which have been expertly selected by Tasting Australia’s Drinks Curators
